George Clooney has refuted a report suggesting that he and Brad Pitt received $35 million each for their performances in “Wolfs.” The 63-year-old actor addressed this issue during a press conference for Jon Watts’ recent film at the Venice Film Festival on Sunday. This statement follows a report from the New York Times, which, citing sources, indicated last week that both actors were compensated “more than $35 million each.”
George Clooney has disclosed the actual compensation he and Brad Pitt received for their roles in “Wolves.” Prior to the premiere of the thriller, the “Ticket to Paradise” actor stated, โIt was an intriguing article, and whatever source provided the information regarding our salaries is off by millions and millions of dollars.โ He emphasized that he is making this clarification because he believes it is detrimental to the film industry if such inflated figures are perceived as the norm for salaries. โI find that concerning; it could hinder the production of films,โ he further remarked.
